Perfect for family in need!

The pool was open 24/7, and let me tell you, we must’ve spent 3 hours every day there, just floating around. When I contacted them before the trip, they even set up a Christmas tree and hid Santa's gifts for the kids! That kind of attention to detail is just. Well, you know, it makes me appreciate the effort.

It wasn’t cheap, but honestly for what we got, it was acceptable.

easy access to great parks and local attractions

I really enjoyed the spacious room with a comfy bed and the great breakfast options, making my stay super pleasant. plus, being just a short walk away from Idaho Falls Greenbelt Trail and the beautiful Japanese Friendship Garden made my city strolls even more enjoyable.

Half amazing, half disappointing

The location is great! Rooms are spacious. comfortable beds gave us restful nights. The staff were exceptional, making our stay memorable.

Multiple issues marred the experience. cleanliness was lacking overall! Breakfast quality failed to meet expectations which was disappointing.

I had a comfy bed, and the retro lobby added charm. However, be prepared for construction and the disappointment of not having a usable balcony.

The King Room was super spacious, and the bed felt amazing! Loved the large layout, and the AC worked like a charm. However, some parts of the room felt a little run down and the furnishings were outdated.

My partner and i stayed for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The king room river view was spacious with a lovely view of the river that made our mornings even better. The indoor pool was fantastic for relaxation after a day of exploring, definitely exceeding our expectations compared to previous stays in idaho falls.

The King Room had air conditioning, a refrigerator, and a microwave. A nice view of the river. The indoor swimming pool was great for the kids, and the hot tub was relaxing after a long day. The staff were friendly and helped with our needs. Breakfast was OK, just basic stuff like pastries and coffee.

Also, the Wi-Fi connection was spotty at times, making it tough to stay connected. Breakfast was mediocre, lacking variety and freshness. Overall, I appreciated the location and comfort but felt there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and dining options.

This was just a prime choice for a city trip in Idaho Falls with the best value. The staff were wonderful and truly made my stay enjoyable. Make sure to check the breakfast hours for a good meal before heading out.

shilo inn is a great spot, especially for those attending soccer tournaments nearby. the friendly staff quickly fixed our air conditioner, and the indoor pool was a hit with the kids. we loved the comfy room and the ability to enjoy the view of the river from the window.
